How does your pricing work?

Pricing depends on two factors; the tutor and tuition type you have chosen. The three main tuition types are group tuition, one-on-one tuition, and admission preparation. A typical price for these are £20, £60 and £120 an hour, respectively. Specific tutors can charge their own rates, depending on how experienced they are.

How safe is my child online?

All tutors have to go through rigorous background checks (including submitting a valid DBS check), interviews and identity verification protocol. Additionally, all lessons are recorded and stored in the cloud, so any inappropriate behaviour can immediately be detected.

What is a personal plan?

A personal plan is a service offered by most of our top tutors. After an initial chat with the tutor, they will create a detailed evaluation and roadmap for the student. This document will contain the tutor's summation of the student's current academic and co-curricular progress, and the recommended steps to best advance this progress.

Can I choose tutors myself?

Yes, you may request a specific tutor, even though we may not recommend them to you initially.

Do I have to do a course?

No, one-on-one and group tuition can be booked per session. Although we use the term 'course', this only refers to a number of pre-booked sessions, usually this number is recommended.
